How long have you lived in your home?
Three years.

Why did you originally move here?
I wanted to be closer to Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan.

How long do you plan to live here?
Until May 2015.

What is your favorite part of your home?
I'm a sucker for buildings with character, so I love the charm of this building, and also the shared rooftop.

What is your least favorite part of your home?
The size. It sometimes does feel small and claustrophobic. And also the price. My rent has increased consistently each year.

What is your favorite part of your neighborhood?
Walkability. I'm close to the water and to the Park, and I feel like I'm at a great starting point for bike rides.

What is your least favorite part of your neighborhood?
Grocery shopping. There really aren't any convenient grocery stores, though I know they are about to break ground for a Mariano's nearby. I'm also a little far from the train.

What are you favorite local stores/restaurants?
Dry Hop is a great local restaurant, I also like Bow Truss and Intelligentsia for coffee and Four Sided is a cool place for home-type items.

How do you get to work?
I ride my bike everywhere.

Where do you grocery shop?
The Trader Joe's on Diversey.

How often do you walk around your neighborhood?
All the time. I think this is one of the main perks of living in Lakeview--I can walk to coffee, food and errands.

Where do you plan to move next?
North Center, to be closer to friends and there's also a lot going on in North Center relating to local beer.

Are you friends with your neighbors?
Not really. There's so much turnover in the building.

What is the general vibe of your neighborhood?
Laid back, young professionals, hipster.
